1) Definition - "Discussion of the War on Terrorism" - Discussing any and all subject matter directly or indirectly related to the War on Terrorism. This includes any individual or group related to the committing/responsible for policies/concepts/practices pertaining to terrorism/anti-terrorism - directly or indirectly, any government related to the committing/responsible for policies/concepts/ practices pertaining to terrorism/anti-terrorism - directly or indirectly, any political parties/ politicians related to the committing/responsible for policies/concepts/practices pertaining to terrorism/anti-terrorism - directly or indirectly, any religion/religious groups related to the committing/responsible for policies/concepts/practices pertaining to terrorism/anti-terrorism - directly or indirectly, any societal/economic behavior related to the committing/responsible for policies/concepts/practices pertaining to terrorism/anti-terrorism - directly or indirectly, any historical events related to the committing/responsible for policies/concepts/practices pertaining to terrorism/anti-terrorism - directly or indirectly, and any philosophy related to the committing/ responsible for policies/concepts/practices pertaining to terrorism/anti-terrorism - directly or indirectly.

Description/History of the "Talk About the War on Terrorism" Discussion Forum - This forum was established and has been in continuous operation since September 11th, 2001. It is dedicated to those who were the victims and heroes of that fateful day, as well as their families, friends, and loved ones. Since being established, this forum has been visited by thousands of individuals from around the world, on every side of many issues, and has proven to be a great source of news, information, and opinions. The visual design of the forum is meant to be extremely symbolic. The background color is the same as the gray soot and ash that covered "Ground Zero" and lower Manhattan after the twin World Trade Center towers fell. The title lines of messages that have not yet been viewed are black, as to remind us all of what a dark day that clear, beautiful Tuesday morning instantly became for all Americans, and to many people worldwide. The title lines of messages that have been viewed are dark red, not only to remind us all of not only the innocent blood that was shed that fateful day. It serves to remind us of the blood that has and will continue to be shed fighting the forces of evil that breed, conduct, and support terrorism. The American flag, "Old Glory", is proudly displayed to demonstrate that we Americans cherish our God given rights, freedoms, and liberties, as well as to let it be known to all that we are proud of who and what we are. We refuse to run, hide, or cower in the face of those who would do harm to the United States and our allies. In the words of the Commander-In-Chief and President of the United States, the Honorable Mr. George W. Bush, "We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail".
Purpose of secure discussion forums - The "Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer" and the "Company Formation" Discussion Forums are designed to serve as the primary means of online unit communication, shifting away from the use of e-mail (except for communications of a private/ sensitive or very specific nature), and should drastically improve communication and the flow of information within the unit due to:
1) Improved accessibility and convenience by providing one source of information. Regardless if an individual Black Knights soldier has/can access to their own e-mail account, all Black Knight soldiers can stay informed and in contact with fellow Black Knights and the unit Chain of Command via this discussion forum. Black Knight soldiers simply need to access the internet and remember their user name and password to the discussion forum, and their AKO user name and password in order to download any posted files.
Note: The user names and passwords used to access both the "Officer and NCO" Discussion Forum and the "Company Formation" Discussion Forum are identical.
2) Eliminating the common complaint of many Black Knight soldiers that their e-mail account is "flooded" with information not pertaining to or of interest to them (or the individual soldier not understanding the importance of the information and deleting it). It also eliminates the problem of individual soldiers failing to routinely check their e-mail account and maintaining it within the allocated online storage size limit. By using this discussion forum, files that are normally shared as e-mail attachments can be uploaded to the Black-Knights-Kill AKO Knowledge Center.* Once uploaded, a direct link to file(s) can then be posted on the discussion forum, along with a message, and downloaded by anyone with access to the discussion forum and the Black-Knights-Kill AKO Knowledge Center. Additionally, once an AKO account has been registered with any particular AKO Knowledge Center, that AKO account holder is a "subscriber" of that particular AKO Knowledge Center. Hence, the AKO account holder will have direct access to all files in that AKO Knowledge Center when they log onto AKO. Any new or edited file(s) will be automatically listed on the "main" page of their individual AKO account. All of these elements combined provide for greater convenience. It eliminates miscommunication brought about by e-mail being returned for having extremely large attachments that are too large to be accepted by any particular service provider. It also keeps the e-mail account of recipient from suddenly exceeding their online storage limit, causing the addressee frustration as other important non-unit related e-mail is missed because the e-mail account over the allowed storage limit. It also provides for a higher level of security over files being shared as e-mail attachments, through the redundancy of registration required for access to both the discussion forum and the ability to download files.
* Key leaders within the Company Chain of Command have the ability to store, share, edit, and/or delete files in the Black-Knights-Kill AKO Knowledge Center once they have become a subscriber of the Black-Knights-Kill AKO Knowledge Center. Additionally, key leaders within the Company Chain of Command also have the ability to edit/delete messages posted to, as well as having the ability to post administrative messages/replies on, all of the www.Black-Knights-Kill.com Discussion Forums once they register with the www.Black-Knights-Kill.com Webmaster. As such, access to and the proper level of security for sharing files can be centrally controlled and maintained by key leaders within the Company Chain of Command.
Note 1: As every soldier is required to have an AKO account, all Black Knight soldiers have the ability to register and gain access to files shared online through the Black-Knights-Kill AKO Knowledge Center. Additionally, every soldier with an AKO account has the ability to establish their own AKO Knowledge Center(s) and store/share files online through their own AKO Knowledge Center(s).
Note 2: For an explanation of why there are separate discussion forums for the Officer and NCOs from the rest of the Black Knight soldiers, see the description of each individual secure discussion forum.
Purpose of the "Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer" Discussion Forum - This forum is meant as an online communications tool for Black Knight Officers (to include Cadets) and NCOs:
1) To allow for the ongoing online discussion of matters specifically related to B Co, 2-112th AR, 49th AD (Monthly drill letter input, current and upcoming unit operations/training/ logistics/maintenance schedules/records/issues, safety records/issues, unit personnel/finance/ supply records/issues, OER and NCOER schedules/records/issues, counseling schedules/ records/issues, unit Order of Merit ratings, recommendations for/status of awards, unit promotion board policy/procedures, unit NCO and Soldier of the Month/Quarter/Year selection policy/ procedures, physical fitness and personal appearance records/issues, Drill and Ceremonies, planing unit events involving the Community/Family Support Group, memoranda, bulletins, schedules, rosters, and other such topics and items).
2) To allow for the ongoing online discussion of matters related to the Officer and NCO Corps at large (Leadership and Career Development, operational/logistics/training doctrine, Army/ National Guard/Command Orders/Regulations/Policies, National Guard/Active Duty opportunities, and other such topics and items).
3) To allow Officers and NCOs to freely discuss Officer and NCO "business" amongst themselves, not "in front of the troops".
Purpose of the "Company Formation" Discussion Forum - This forum is meant as an online communications tool for all Black Knight soldiers:
1) To allow for the ongoing online discussion of matters related to all Black Knight soldiers of B Co, 2-112th AR, 49th AD, regardless of rank (Drill Letters, training/maintenance/ counseling schedules/records/issues, safety records/issues, personnel/finance records/issues, equipment maintenance records/issues, unit promotion board requirements/preparation, unit NCO and Soldier of the Month/Quarter/Year requirements/preparation, awards, unit Order of Merit, physical fitness and personal appearance, Drill and Ceremonies, events involving the Community/ Family Support Group, and other such topics and items).
2) To allow for the ongoing online discussion of general topics of interest for all Black Knight soldiers, regardless of rank (Leadership and Career Development, training, Army/ National Guard/Command Orders/Regulations/Policies, National Guard/Active Duty opportunities, and other such topics and items).

1) Any content posted to any Black-Knights-Kill.com Discussion Forum must be in compliance with the www.Black-Knights-Kill.com Discussion Forums Terms of Service, as established in paragraphs (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (11), (12), and (13), below, as well as the www.Boardhost
.com Terms of Service.
2) Any visitor of this forum, who discovers any content posted to any www.Black-Knights-Kill.com Discussion Forum that is suspected to violate either the www.Black-Knights-Kill.com Discussion Forums or www.Boardhost.com Terms of Service, must contact the Forum Administrator/ Co- Administrator(s) or the Webmaster of www.Black-Knights-Kill.com immediately, and give specific information as to what is the suspect content, where it is located on the forum, and how it constitutes a violation of either the www.Black-Knights-Kill.com Discussion Forums or www. Boardhost.com Terms of Service. - See paragraph (4), below, for specific instructions on how to report a suspected violation of the www.Black-Knights-Kill.com Discussion Forums or www.
